Redesigned RT-65 Posi-Track Loader by ASV: A Leap Forward in Construction Machinery

ASV, a brand under Yanmar Compact Equipment, has unveiled its newly redesigned RT-65 Posi-Track loader, a model aimed at improving productivity, user convenience, and performance. This updated version is tailored for contractors and owner-operators in the construction and landscaping sectors, promising significant advancements over its predecessor.

The new RT-65 is powered by a Tier 4 Final Yanmar diesel engine, which represents a major upgrade in performance. According to Peter Ovrebo, Product Management Director for North America at Yanmar Compact Equipment North America, “Our goal is to offer our clients more durable and high-performing machinery. The RT-65 not only benefits from Yanmar power but also features a complete redesign, setting a new standard for productivity and usability on the job site.”

The redesigned RT-65 boasts a radial-lift design and is equipped with a 67.1-horsepower Yanmar engine. It offers an optional high-flow hydraulic system with a 26.7 gpm capacity. With a rated operating capacity of 2,000 pounds and a tipping load of 5,714 pounds, the loader delivers robust performance thanks to its efficient hydraulic system and direct drive pumps.

A standout feature of the RT-65 is its Posi-Track rubber track undercarriage, known for its excellent traction and mobility. At 7,385 pounds, the RT-65 includes a sophisticated suspension system with two independent torsion axles per undercarriage, providing a smooth ride across various terrains and a low ground pressure of just 4.2 psi. This makes it highly effective in steep, wet, muddy, and slippery conditions.
