Komatsu Unveils Battery-Powered Aquatic Bulldozers at 2025 Tech Event

The initial prototype was manufactured in July 2023, with subsequent trials carried out in various aquatic environments, including rivers and harbors.

The forthcoming exhibition will center around the concept of “Submerged Construction for Tomorrow: Facilitating Universal Participation in Safeguarding Communities,” highlighting the role of subaquatic construction robots. The display will underscore how “Submerged Construction for Tomorrow” aids in disaster mitigation and recovery efforts, as well as in the advancement of renewable energy sources and blue carbon projects, such as the establishment of seagrass meadows and tidal flat ecosystems, as per the company’s vision.
