Indonesia’s Volvo L25 Electric Trial Sets a New Benchmark for Sustainability

In an ambitious step toward sustainable innovation, a trial of Volvo’s L25 Electric wheel loader was conducted from August 28 to October 28, 2024, at a customer site in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. This initiative is part of Volvo Construction Equipment’s (Volvo CE) commitment to promoting eco-friendly machinery across diverse industries in the region.

The customer, renowned for prioritizing environmental responsibility, embraced the opportunity to test electric machinery within their operations. The L25 Electric, Volvo’s pioneering compact wheel loader, integrates a proven platform with state-of-the-art battery technology, ensuring robust performance, zero tailpipe emissions, and near-silent operation.

Positive Feedback from Customers and Operators

The trial received glowing feedback from both the customer and the machine operator. The L25 Electric impressed with its ability to perform as effectively as traditional equipment while offering unique advantages.
