Bobcat Expands Tractor Line with New Heavy-Duty Models

Bobcat Company, a global leader in equipment solutions, has introduced three new utility tractors—the UT6066, UT6566, and UT6573—to its product lineup. These models are crafted to handle heavy-duty tasks with ease, offering users a blend of power, efficiency, and operational simplicity, regardless of their experience level.

Introducing the New Models The launch of the UT6066, UT6566, and UT6573 marks a significant expansion of Bobcat’s utility tractor offerings. Designed with both novice and experienced operators in mind, these tractors are engineered for tough jobs, delivering top-notch performance with minimal effort.

Jonathan Widmer, a senior product specialist at Bobcat, highlights the user-centric design of these tractors. “Our utility tractors are built for reliability and ease of use,” he says. “They’re versatile machines that allow operators to achieve high productivity, whether they’re using attachments or managing materials with the loader.”

The new models feature 12×12 power shuttle transmissions, which allow for smooth gear changes without the need to use the clutch pedal. Powered by turbocharged Tier 4 diesel engines, these tractors offer substantial power with impressive low-end torque, all while maintaining fuel efficiency. The design ensures reliable starts, quick travel speeds, longer component life, and reduced noise and vibration, enhancing operator comfort.

For added convenience, the UT6566 and UT6573 models come standard with a climate-controlled cab, providing comfort in all weather conditions. The tractors also boast wide glass panels, offering clear visibility to the 3-point hitch, and ergonomic controls designed to reduce operator fatigue and improve overall performance.

Versatility with Implements and Attachments Bobcat’s new utility tractors are highly versatile, compatible with a range of implements and attachments. The optional front-end loader, which can be easily attached and removed, significantly enhances productivity with its impressive lift and reach capabilities. The loader includes the Bob-Tach® system for quick and easy attachment changes and features mechanical self-leveling to keep pallet forks level throughout the lifting process, reducing spillage.

These tractors are equipped with a rear PTO capable of reaching 540 rpm at engine speeds of 1,800 or 2,500 rpm, providing maximum power for various tasks. The Category 2, 3-point hitch increases versatility, allowing operators to handle both powered and non-powered implements. The telescopic lower links and stabilizers make it easier to connect and remove implements without tools, while rear-remote hydraulics further enhance the tractors’ versatility.

Performance-Enhancing Features Bobcat’s latest utility tractors come equipped with several features designed to enhance performance:

  • PTO Cruise: Maintains steady PTO power despite changing engine load conditions.
  • Draft Control: Ensures the implement remains at the desired height, preventing tire slippage or engine stalling.
  • Four-Wheel Drive: Can be engaged at the push of a button to improve traction.
  • Rear-Remote Hydraulics: Increases versatility by enabling hydraulic functions for a wide range of implements.
  • Power and Tilt Steering: Enhances operator comfort and reduces fatigue.
  • Mechanical Self-leveling: Keeps the loader bucket or pallet forks level, minimizing spillage.
  • Loader Floatation: Allows the loader to follow ground contours for smooth operation.
  • Bob-Tach System: Facilitates quick and easy loader attachment changes.

Jonathan Widmer adds, “Whether your tasks involve cutting hay, clearing snow, or handling materials, Bobcat utility tractors offer the versatility and power you need to get more done with less effort.”
